Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #25

It’s Blog Hop time again and our last one for the year is…..

If you are starting the hop here, welcome and I hope you like what I have created.

I decided not to share Christmas creations today but 2 cards I have made using the gorgeous ‘Forever Greenery’ DSP.

The first card also uses the lovely die from Painted Labels along with the Stitched Shapes dies and the sentiment is from the Fancy Phrases stamp set. I’ve embossed the lower part of the card with the Greenery Embossing Folder and also added a couple gold leaves from the coordinating Forever Gold Speciality DSP.

On the second card I’ve only added an embossed sentiment and let the DSP do all the work.

One last photo of the 2 cards together.

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #23

It’s Blog Hop time again and this time we have a Colour Challenge.

If you are starting the hop here, welcome and I hope you like what I have created.

My inspiration for this card came from Page 138 of the Annual Catalogue and uses the Dry Brush background stamp. I have used all 3 of the colours on this stamp inking up carefully with the lighter colours first and then the Pretty Peacock on lower right edge. I’ve done this with the inkpads being careful not to cross contaminate my ink colours but you could also ink the stamp up using markers, sponges or daubers. Once I had stamped my background image I then inked the large floral image from Ornate Style using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped over the background. My sentiment is from the Fancy Phrases stamp set which has been die cut using the Stiched Shape Dies. A little Silver Metallic Edge ribbon underneath the sentiment and a few Rhinestones complete my card.
