Today’s card is using the ‘Morning Star’ stamp set from the January – June 2020 Mini catalogue and unfortunately it won’t be carrying over into the new Annual Catalogue (released 3rd June) but you can still purchase it until 2nd June if not sold out prior.
I went with a subtles colour scheme on this card and have used the gorgoues Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink. I stamped my main image onto Whisper White card firstly using Soft Sea Foam for the leaf image and then Petal Pink for the flower. I have then cut the image out using the Stitched Star Dies which coordinate with the set. Next I cut a larger Stitched Star in Soft Sea Foam and mounted my image star on top using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then stamped the smaller star image using Soft Sea Foam onto Whisper White card and die cut again with a Stitched Stars die. I layered a piece of Petal Pink dsp from the Subtles 6×6 dsp pack onto a piece of Whisper White card and then mounted to a Soft Sea Foam base card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then mounted the stars on top also using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next I stamped my sentiment using Petal Pink ink onto Whisper White card before die cutting using the Stitched Rectangles Dies and mounting to the card. My final touch was to add some Basic Adhesive-Backed sequins in Soft Sea Foam.
