So Glad We’re Friends

It’s time for a new challenge over at ABC Challenges and this week is…..

‘J is for Just As You Like’  which is Anything Goes.

Our sponsors for this challenge are

Marianne Design

The Ribbon Girl

I’ve used a Marianne Design 3D cutting sheet on my card today along with some Marianne Design Dies.

This cutting sheet is called Daisy Making Cards #3205. The dies I have used are the LR0299 set. I’ve added a retired sentiment from Stampin’ Up and some gorgeous Wild Orchid Craft flowers including some of the gorgeous new Miniature Gardenias.

Here’s another photo.

Here’s a closer look at the image.

Stamps: Best Yet (Retired Stampin’ Up)
Card: Whisper White(Stampin’ Up), Paper – Spring Fling & Summer Days Combo (DCWV)
Ink: Sahara Sand & Pink Pirouette (Stampin’ Up)
Accessories: Die – LR0299 (Marianne Design), Daisy Making Cards #3205 (Marianne Design), Martha Steward Around the Page Punch – Cherish, Basic Jewels – Pearls (SU), Lace (Live & Love Crafts), Flowers – Wild Orchid Crafts.

If you haven’t already stopped by ABC Challenges and checked out what the rest of the DT have created then please do so now.

Inkspirational EOTWE #7

I’m back today to share my creation for this weeks Photo Inkspiration Challenge.

Here’s the Inkspiration again.

Our sponsor for the month, Eclectic Anthology, has some great ‘Flower Basket’ Freebies to download so I thought I’d give Paper Tole a go. I’m sure those that do Paper Tole regularly would have probably had lots more layers to their creation than I did but I’m still really happy with my results. This is what I came up with.

I decided not to put a sentiment on this card. Firstly, I couldn’t find something I liked and would fit without unbalancing the card. Secondly, it leaves the card open for any occasion.

Here’s another view so you can actually see some of the Paper Tole.

And one more for a close up.

I’m really happy how this turned out and even though it’s a bit fiddly cutting out all the different layers, it was well worth it. I’d love to hear what you think.

Don’t forget to make your own creation and link it up to the Inkspirational challenge.
