Stampin’ Blends

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #22

It’s Blog Hop time again and this time we have a sketch.

If you are starting the hop here, welcome and I hope you like what I have created.

Sunflowers are my favourite flowers and I thought the Celebrate Sunflower stamp set would fit this sketch perfectly.

Along with the Celebrate Sunflower stamp set I’ve used the Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder, some new In-Color Cardstock, co-ordinating paper & embellishments. I’ve coloured the images using Stampin’ Blends.

Next in the hop is Meighan and you can visit her site by clicking the button.

Alternatively, here is a full list of participants and links to their sites.

Adding Colour

Stampin’ Blends are great for colouring in your stamped images but they can also be used to colour your dsp and ribbons so you can have even more colour coordination.

The Magnolia Lane dsp is fabulous for adding some colour.

In this one I’ve used the Daffodil Delight blends and also coloured some Silver Metallic Edge ribbon.

For this one I’ve used the Magno Melody blends and coloured the Gold Metallic Edge ribbon.

This last one I’ve used the Purple Posy blends.

I can’t wait to try some other colours and maybe some other dsp. Do you have a favourite?

Peaceful Poinsettia

There are so many great stamp sets in the new Holiday Catalogue and one of them is Peaceful Poinsettia which also comes with a co-ordinating set of dies.

I’ve coloured the Poinsettia image in with Cherry Cobbler & Old Olive Stampin’ Blends with a touch of Daffodil Delight Dark for the centre and also to colour my Clear Rhinestones. The sentiment is from another new stamp set called Timeless Tidings. I’ve added some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint over the Poinsettia to add a bit of shimmer. The designer series paper is from the Annual Catalogue and is called Under the Mistletoe.
